We grateful for the support we receive from our team of volunteers.
We rely on the support of a team of volunteer youth workers to support activities at our youth clubs and to support our other projects throughout the year such as holiday schemes, sports, adventurous activities and residential trips.
We need fun, dynamic and enthusiastic people to commit to volunteering weekly or on a rota monthly.
Our volunteer youth workers play an integral role in helping to facilitate our youth work sessions, including supporting activities such as art and craft activities, cooking, competitions and workshops, as well as providing general support and guidance for the young people.
Our volunteers always work alongside experienced youth workers and have lots of opportunities to learn and gain valuable experience and qualifications. You do not have to have formal qualifications to apply to become a volunteer youth worker, but ideally you’ll have some experience of interacting with young people .
Many of our volunteers are parents from the Nightingales and ensure that we remain grounded in the local community.
